Scrap Attack!

This may look artistic, but I assure you, it is not. I have to admit this looks a lot cooler on the computer but in real life it looks weird.

So my intention was to do what the woman ahead of me had done, this was to make some fancy stamp design and then make it look pretty. I ended up with an imprinted tag...so I "painted" it blue. That didn't end so well. Then I decided to fill in some of the flowers. I started with yellow, because it goes with blue...but then I got bored of it and went for purple. And them sparkly black.

It all ended when I went for Bronze and colored the leaves as such. So now I have some yellow and purple flowers that are...wilting?

So I now have official proof that my creativity halts when anything solid becomes involved. No sculpting for me I'm afraid. I think the world is better off, actually.

So the convention was quite, well, not interesting. There were not a ton of people but one thing did happen! OWLS everywhere. It's a shame because I love them and they don't allow you to take pictures.

More of my GP soon; I'm sure everybody wants to read that.

The Mysterious Ginger: CRASH

One day Bartholomew was skipping down the sidewalk when a small panel with big words pushed him out of the way just to say CRASH! I never knew why it said that word.

Who is this mysterious ginger? What relation does he have with our hero, Barty? Why does he have purple eyes? What are you on, why does it look like that?

Tune in next time for The Mysterious Ginger!

Christmas in July? On a boat?

So here is a picture I drew of my friend Curtis with Santa. Why?

Because he felt like it.

And here is a picture of me on a boat. That I will never be on. I hope you get that there is a sunset behind me, sorry if it's confusing.

Hanners and a photo

Look it's Hannah! And she looks awful, I am so sorry. It is 11:22 and it's no excuse so I am going to redo it...someday. I just wanted to say that she got an awesome haircut and this doodle does not do it justice.
It's really cute and short. YATA!

She's freaking awesome. She and I had Latin together and I think she is the only reason I survived. She's a genius at the translating thing and we had lots of laughs.

So we hung out today and talked about Star Trek, Doctor Who, missing Heroes, A Very Potter Musical and then we went to the mall and bought SOCKS. It's so classic Hannah.

OH! We saw really awesome Chucks at Journey's. They were Batman. I do not own this image, please, this is just for the awesomeness because they are awesome. Now some people may not understand: Hannah is a Batman fangirl. She has Batman everything, well maybe not everything but a belt buckle, and a shirt.
We got awesome socks, too! Hannah's are the card ones and mine are the blue-ish ones. I love socks, they go well with Chucks. They are my favorite shoe.

So just for fun, here's a picture completely unrelated to everything.

Tada! It's me, with brown hair...because senior pictures are deceiving? Yes, yes, I think so. I looked really strange in all of my senior portraits, the background was close to my hair color and even though I am a dirty blonde it made me look like a brunette. My eyes looked extremely small and out of place, and I was really pale. So much for a tan.

Luckily my mom said that she'd rather I go get my pictures done somewhere else so she doesn't have to pay a ton of money from this other place. Thank God.

Day 8: Elk Sausage

So on Saturday, July 24th I went with Jeff to a Native American Powow at a local park. It was extremely hot and I was sweating within minutes but it turned out to be a good experience.

I was given the opportunity to see traditional dances. Dances of the women were not very exciting, it was like watching someone walk around. The men were far more interesting and involved porcupine hair, eagle feathers and hoops!

As for the title, I am always up for new things and I ate elk sausage, it was good and spicy, how I like it.

We interviewed the lead dancer, to tell the truth, he was not very good in front of the camera.

Something I have learned with Jeff is that you can tell when someone is really trying in front of the camera and when they can do a lot better. There are people who you can get retakes from, and while it may be annoying to hear them say the same thing over and over, the end result is a lot better. However, people like the man above say "um" a lot and don't really know what to say and tend to end sentences like this and...yeah that's it. When people do this the whole message seems less important and editing becomes crucial.

Day 6: Ye Old Grange Fair

Ooh, aren't I artistic? That's my hand, holding a video camera, recording an interview.

I went out to a large part of land on Tuesday, July 20th. It was an interview for an upcoming, age old fair.

Honestly, it was not very interesting. I listened to this man talk about cows and horses and chicken dinners so much that my hand got tired. It was really a one-on-one thing and nothing exciting happened, that is if you don't count the exciting mower.

Day 7: There's no buisness like show buisness, like no buisness I know!

So a few days ago, Friday July 23rd, I went to a local high school to interview the cast and director for the musical Annie Get Your Gun. I have never seen this musical and I will be seeing that very same one this weekend, my cousin is in it.

It was really awesome, actually. I have never been able to see a dress rehearsal, or any rehearsal and I loved being able to watch them sing and act. What I found was most interesting was the fact that the director, left, would loudly say things to the whole cast while they were running through the play and they would just continue like nothing had been said.

First we interviewed the director and Jeff and I asked questions about the organization, it's a summer club/organization that teaches students about acting. Then we went inside the auditorium to watch them rehearse. After they finished that we interviewed some of the leads from both nights.
